The final Programme will include a presentation by Dr. Stephen Hamil from RIBA Enterprises UK.

He describes the subject of his presentation as 'the new ground breaking NBS specification system is based on rich digital objects and the relationships and constraints between them.

It allows the specification of the building systems and products, their performance and required standards of workmanship.

The specification is a non-graphical building information model that may be created at the outline design stage of the building and then developed through construction to create an "as-built" model.

The presentation will demonstrate the NBS system working with commercial CAD packages through the COBie and IFC open standards'
