The group is focussed on how the up-coming issues around sustainability can be supported by standards. It is currently working on an agreement for the interoperability of sustainability data for buildings and products to support participants in the Technology Strategy Board Design and Decision Tools for Low Impact Buildings.

Questions addresssed by the group include:

• Applying object thinking to a topic dominated by rates and factors
• How to share - read and write - sustainability data in a re-usable form.
• The naming of sustainability indicators and life cycle stages.
